Livewire wins 2010 Silver Leaf Award
Wednesday, December 15th, 2010 – Livewire Communications, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is the proud recipient of a prestigious 2010 Silver Leaf Award for excellence in business communication, presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Livewire won an Award of Merit in the Employment Communication category for development of an employee engagement campaign for Neopost Canada.
Silver Leaf is Canada’s premier professional awards program celebrating excellence in business communication. Entries are judged against international standards by experts across Canada. The winners represent excellence in organizational communication and their work plans serve as best practices for professional communicators across communication disciplines.
“We are honoured to be recognized across Canada for the value our strategic communications brought to our client,” comments Livewire President and Partner, Mark Attard. “We have a long-standing relationship with Neopost Canada and are proud to support them. Their president, Lou Gizzarelli, really understands how internal communications helps foster a customer-centric culture. Providing that high level of customer experience has helped Neopost differentiate themselves from their competitors. As a result of their efforts, customer satisfaction is up, sales are up, employee engagement is up – it’s a great success story and we’re pleased to have played a role in it.”
Mr. Gizzarelli congratulated Livewire on the award, adding, “We’ve had a great partnership for several years now and have accomplished some impressive wins. Our 2010 Hewitt employee engagement survey results showed substantial gains in our customer-centric culture. And an amazing 96% of our Canadian team indicated they had a good understanding of their business unit’s goals and objectives. We achieved that company-wide alignment by focusing on clear and consistent internal communications. It works.”
